Corporate citizenship

It’s part of our values to make a positive contribution to our communities, which is why we’re so committed to our corporate citizenship strategy.

Case studies

Case studies

Our corporate citizenship case studies show how our people are working to address poverty and make a positive difference to communities.

Our approach is to apply our professional skills to tackling issues in all these areas, and we encourage everyone at KPMG to get involved. We work alongside governments, civil society groups and international agencies to find sustainable solutions, and our scale and combined knowledge can make a real impact.

Globally, our support and donation of skills to NGOs are making a significant contribution towards achieving the UN’s Millennium Development Goals – which include ending poverty and hunger, improving child and maternal health, providing education for all children, and combating HIV/Aids. We are making our own progress in mitigating the risk of climate change: the KPMG Global Green Initiative aims to reduce our combined global carbon footprint by 15 percent by 2015.

These issues may sometimes seem huge and insurmountable – but every day, the commitment and work of our people show that it’s possible to make a real difference within our local communities and environments.
