The Summit brought together key stakeholders and decision makers to consider and debate how to ensure that Gibraltar remains the premier gaming jurisdiction in light of recent developments in the sector both locally and globally.
The Chief Minister, the Right Honorable Peter Caruana, opened the summit, followed by some words of welcome from KPMG. The morning programme considered issues impacting on the sector, with specific emphasis on those licensed and operating from Gibraltar, including regulation, banking, player safety and changing global attitudes to the sector. A panel of speakers considered the changing environment and key issues.
Following lunch, a lively group of speakers delivered sessions on current and future developments for the sector, with insight into some cutting edge ideas. The summit closed with a panel session led by Mark Summerfield which responded to questions raised by delegates throughout the day.
