KPMG Gibraltar attended the FONDS 2012 conference in Zurich from 1 February 2012 to 3 February 2012 as part of a larger Gibraltar delegation, which as well as KPMG in their capacity as auditors included administrators, lawyers, banks and investment managers.
The aim was to promote Gibraltar mainly to Swiss investment managers as a viable and attractive jurisdiction for domiciliation for their fund vehicles. The Gibraltar team had their own stand at the event alongside well known names from the fund industry. The conference was very successful with lots of interest generated about using Gibraltar.
