After graduating from University, Umesh trained as a Chartered Certified Accountant with KPMG in Gibraltar, qualifying in 2003. Through his career, he has acquired knowledge and experience on a large and diverse portfolio of clients, providing services such as audit, accounting, advisory and tax.
Over the last few years Umesh has specialised in the Financial Services Industry and in particular on funds which has seen an explosive growth in Gibraltar. He has developed a wide range of skills and experience in the industry by providing the highest standard of professional services to different types of funds registered in various jurisdictions.
Umesh also looks after the corporate and personal tax matters of the practice. He has a extensive and wide-ranging experience in advising local and international clients on Gibraltar tax matters, including banking and financial services entities.
He is also a member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants tax committee, is a former treasurer of the Hindu Merchants’ Association and is involved with other charities locally.
