Michael qualified as an accountant in 1996 before moving to Gibraltar in 2001 and subsequently joining KPMG in 2008. He specialises in the provision of audit and tax services to a variety of industries including insurance companies, funds, online gaming and other regulated companies, and in financial reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS.

Michael is a member of executive committees for both the Gibraltar Society of Accountants and the Gibraltar Insurance Institute, as well a member of the Gibraltar Funds and Investment Association. He is also the assistant treasurer to the Gibraltar Insurance Institute.
