At the Mississauga Board of Trade Business Awards of Excellence celebration held at the Mississauga Convention Centre, ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development received the 2012 Not-for-Profit Organization of the Year Award. The award recognizes a not-for-profit organization that significantly contributes to quality of life in Mississauga. The award was sponsored by KPMG Enterprise and presented by Paul Woolford, Partner, KPMG Enterprise.

"Receiving the Not-for-Profit Organization of the Year award from the Mississauga Board of Trade comes at a critical time in the history of ErionoakKids," added Board Chair Steve Bishop at the award ceremony. "To fulfill our commitment to children and youth with disabilities, we have, with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, just embarked on a redevelopment project to build three new treatment centres, including one in Mississauga. Our vision is to create nurturing, purpose-built spaces that will enhance our effectiveness and enable us to serve more children and youth."

From the entire KPMG Enterprise team across the country, we congratulate ErinoakKids to a well-deserved honour.
