Meet Barbara Cook, a manager at KPMG, who went on a reduced work week for the first five years after her daughters were born. Her reduced work week allowed her to work from home three days and come into the office for two days. After those five years, she returned to working four days a week in the office and one day at home. In terms of the standard work hours, her day varied as well whether she came in at 6am or left at 9pm, as long as she completed her work in the required time.
