Kyle is a Co-op student from the Asper School of Business and this will be his first term working with KPMG developing skills in multiple departments throughout the firm. Kyle is a sports enthusiast who loves playing and watching sports. Everything from hockey and Tae Kwon Do to ultimate and ping pong there are very few competitive sports that he has not tried.
Zennon Gagne

This summer Zennon Gagne has worked on audits ranging from small and private to large public companies. His first three weeks involved joining an audit team of a large mutual fund company and going to Calgary for intern training. He will have rotations in audit, advisory, tax, and the owner managed business group. Zen is an active volunteer at Winnipeg Harvest every Saturday and in his spare time enjoys biking, playing sports and staying healthy.

Nicole is a summer student with KPMG. This summer she did a rotation through all of KPMG’s divisions, including tax, audit, advisory and enterprise. Nicole is currently enrolled in the Asper School of Business completing her Bachelor of Commerce in December 2013. Once she is finished she plans on pursuing her CA designation with KPMG. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at her cabin in the Whiteshell, whether it is swimming, snowmobiling or relaxing. Nicole also enjoys travelling to new places and meeting new people.

Leah is a summer student with KPMG at the Winnipeg office. Leah had a chance to get to know everyone in Calgary during our week of training and is looking forward to working with all of them this summer. So far Leah has had a great experience working with KPMG. Leah has already been on a few audits and is now working in tax for the next two weeks. Everyone at KPMG has made an effort to make the new students feel welcome and Leah has settled in nicely in the Winnipeg office. Traveling is a hobby of Leah’s. Last summer Leah spent a month traveling in Europe where her favourite place was Barcelona. Her next destination is Las Vegas for my 21st birthday at the end of August.

Victoria is a summer student with KPMG and definitely looks forward to coming back as a full-time staff in January2013. This summer Victoria got the opportunity to work on many clients of the Auditing practice. Victoria’s latest jobs include “Friends of the Canadian Human Rights Museum” and “Investors Group”. She is completing her Bachelor of Commerce at the Asper School of Business and will be pursuing her CA designation. Victoria enjoys swimming, reading and traveling. She is also dedicated to helping her local and international communities through volunteering. Originally from Bulgaria and Lebanon, and raised in Montreal, Victoria speaks three languages: English, French and Bulgarian.

This summer, Corrine began her first Co-op work term with KPMG. She has been working in Audit and assisting in the conversion of the paper file room to electronic documents. She enjoys learning on the job and loves meeting clients. When not at work, Corrine likes to spend time with her friends. She also loves the outdoors, enjoys bicycling, and is learning how to rollerblade. She is looking forward to travelling and exploring the world after she obtains her Chartered Accounting designation.

This summer has been Vimbai’s first coop work term with KPMG. Vimbai started her experience with KPMG by attending an exciting internship training session at the Calgary KPMG office. Since returning from training, Vimbai has had the opportunity to work with the Audit and Tax departments at the KPMG Winnipeg office. Vimbai is originally from Zimbabwe but has had the opportunity to live in Botswana, South Africa and Canada. Vimbai lives for memorable experiences, such as bungee jumping 100m down the Zambezi gorge, paragliding across the savannah and safari drives at sunset. Outside of work Vimbai enjoys spending quality time with her friends, mountain biking and canoeing on the Winnipeg River.

This is Zach’s first summer with KPMG. He is a summer student from the University of Manitoba and will be graduating in December, 2013. Zach looks forward to the job rotation between Audit, Tax and Advisory over the next three months. Last summer, Zach worked at Wellington West Capital and enjoyed the opportunity to help KPMG on the year-end audit. When he is not working, he enjoys playing golf, hockey and traveling as much as possible. He has one sister, Alexa, and two yellow Labradors, Zoe and Emma.
