Scott has been with KPMG for 16 years and has worked with a wide variety of both private and public companies during this time. His first 4 years with KPMG were spent in Vancouver before transferring to the Calgary office in 2000. Since arriving in Calgary, Scott has gained extensive experience working with numerous technology-based clients, providing a wide range of services, including audit, securities work, and due diligence assignments.
Scott is a board member with the Alberta Science and Technology Foundation and also sits on the Accounting Steering Committee for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is also the partner responsible for KPMG in Calgary's Campus Recruiting initiatives.
In his spare time, Scott is an avid golfer, and especially enjoys spending time with his wife and four young children.

Louisa started out her KPMG career as a summer intern in May 2003, and after obtaining her B.Comm through the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2004, began her full-time career with the firm in the fall of that same year. Louisa went on to complete the CASB program, and passed the UFE in 2006.
While working in the Calgary office's Audit practice for 4 years, Louisa had the opportunity to work on both public and private clients, as well as due diligence, US GAAP, and SOX engagements. In 2008, after spending 3 great months on a temporary secondment with the Campus Recruiting team, Louisa decided to take on the full time role of Manager of Campus Recruiting for the Calgary office.
In June 2012, Louisa was promoted to Senior Talent Attraction Manager, and now manages the campus team nationally. When she’s not busy meeting students on campus, Louisa enjoys taking long trips to other continents; learning new languages; volunteering at the Women in Need Society; and hiking, camping, and skiing in the Rockies.

Susie Cooke joined KPMG in September 2007 after completing the Bachelor of Business Administration at St. Francis Xavier University. Susie began her career as an auditing student in the oil and gas department at the Calgary office, and completed her CA designation is December 2009. Susie's current focus has been with the Oil and Gas practice as well as working on specific engagements within the Corporate Auditing Practice.
While at KPMG, Susie has spent the last couple of years involved in the CASB mentorship program and KPMG's UFE preparation program. As well Susie has been involved in KPMG's National Summer Student training program and enjoys being a mentor and performance counselor for junior staff.
Before becoming an Accountant Susie had the opportunity to travel throughout Canada and Australia as she pursued her passion of cooking. Susie has an active 8 year old at home, and spends most of her free time at a hockey arena or volunteering at her son's school.
Taryn Wener

Taryn has worked in a variety of areas in her short time at KPMG; she started her career with KPMG as a co-op student in Toronto in the fall of 2005, and then made the move to Calgary to complete a term as a summer intern in 2006. Taryn returned to Dalhousie University to finish her Bachelor of Commerce prior to returning to Calgary to work full time in the Audit group in the fall of 2007. Taryn then went on to complete the CASB program and pass the UFE in 2009.
While working in the Calgary office, Taryn has had the opportunity to test out a number of different areas, working on large and small audit engagements, travelling across the country and over to London, preparing tax returns in the International Tax group, and working with the Campus Recruiting team on a 3-month temporary secondment in 2008. Upon passing the UFE and completing her third year with KPMG, Taryn took on a 1-year secondment working with the Campus Recruiting team as a Talent Attraction Specialist in the Calgary office and enjoyed this experience so much that she has now become a permanent member of the Talent Attraction Team!
In her free time, when she isn't too busy on campus, Taryn enjoys travelling, biking, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her family and friends.

Katie joined KPMG in October, 2006 after graduating from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. She left for a short while to work in the municipal sector, and returned to KPMG a year later in May, 2012. Katie provides assurance and other services to KPMG's Enterprise clients in manufacturing, healthcare and not-for-profit organizations.
Katie has been actively involved in recruiting since re-joining KPMG. She is also on the Community Leader committee and the Growth committee. Katie is looking forward to welcoming the new hires in October as their performance manager.
Katie is an active participant in KPMG's community initiatives as a volunteer and prospective board member with the Fredericton Homeless shelters. Outside of work, Katie enjoys yoga, travelling and cooking.

Jamie joined KPMG in 1992 after graduating from St. Mary's University in Halifax. He left for a short while to work at an airline, and returned to KPMG a few years later. He is now the Partner-in-Charge of the Halifax Audit practice, and has both private and public clients.
Jamie has held various roles within the firm, including Dialogue Counsellor. He is currently spending a lot of his time helping clients with their conversion to the new IFRS standards.
When not at work, Jamie can be found with his two boys and wife, or trying to work on his short game at the local golf course.

JP joined KPMG in 2009 after spending several years with a financial services firm in Bermuda. JP received a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint May's University in 2003 and went on to complete his CA Designation in 2006. JP's client based includes public companies, large private corporations, and government business enterprises.
JP has various roles with the firm including Recruiting Manager for Halifax, Performance Counselor and the Financial Services sector lead for Halifax.
Outside of the office, JP enjoys playing Soccer and Basketball, hiking, running, spending time with Family and traveling.

Nicole Legere joined the KPMG team as a full-time employee October 2006 with the Audit practice working with a number of different industries including telecommunications, real estate, manufacturing wholesale, retail and non-for-profit organizations. Nicole graduated in 2006 from Université de Moncton with a BBA, majoring in accounting.

Sarah Brown joined KPMG in the fall of 2006 with the Audit practice working with clients in a number of difference industries including manufacturing, utilities, gaming, telecommunications and not-for-profit organizations. Sarah graduated from the University of New Brunswick Saint John in 2006 with a BBA and a major in accounting.
Sarah has been involved with KPMG recruiting since 2009 and has also been involved with the UFE process while serving as the New Brunswick UFE Coordinator in 2009 and 2010. This role allowed her to mentor CA students through their CA exams at both the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy and the UFE.
Sarah is an active member of her community serving on the board of directors for both FUSION Saint John Inc. and the Saint John Chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling and also playing hockey and soccer throughout the year.

Gail is an assurance Partner in the St. John's office of KPMG LLP. Gail has over thirty years of experience in providing audit and related business advisory services to a variety of organizations. These included public, multinational, entrepreneurial and not-for-profit entities, as well as organizations with public accountability such as crown corporations and municipalities. The majority of Gail's clients are based in Atlantic Canada. Certain clients have international parents or subsidiaries. Gail has experience in reporting under Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles government accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Gail has been actively involved in recruiting since starting her career. She has been involved with staff training and assists regularly with professional development courses. Gail has been a key note speaker at a number of seminars to discuss issues for women in business and management issues facing owners and managers.
Gail participates in a number of volunteer activities for her church and the community. For fun, Gail enjoys travelling, walking, and entertaining!

Julia Beniusis joined KPMG and the Talent Attraction team in January 2011, overseeing campus recruitment for the firm's Regions East offices. Prior to joining KPMG, Julia held recruitment roles at the University of Guelph and, more recently, with the Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Human Resources Management Degree, and is a board member with the Hamilton Chapter of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
Outside of work, Julia can be found enjoying her many favourite active pursuits, including running, yoga, snowboarding, and golf.
