Tobin Richardson joined KPMG in September 1999 after completion of his Honours Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Windsor. He is a Senior Manager in the Assurance practice in KPMG’s Windsor office, spending a significant amount of time on US GAAP and IFRS engagements.
Tobin has taken on the additional role of People Leader, part of a new initiative launched in 2007, which is a key element in the firm’s Engaging for Excellence strategy. The collective mandate of KPMG’s People Leaders is to help increase engagement of the firm’s employees by being a catalyst for improved people management and performance management across the firm.
Additionally, Tobin has been asked to facilitate a number of core assurance training programs as part of KPMG’s National Training program, contributing to the firm’s continuous learning culture. He has travelled extensively throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. Tobin enjoys curling and skiing in the winter, with golf and boating taking over in the summer.
