Ron worked with KPMG in Vancouver from 1979 until 1993 when he transferred to Prince George.

 

He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1981 and since that time he has been involved in providing audit and other assurance services to a wide variety of profit and non-profit organizations.

 

Ron has a wife (Anne) and two children, Stephen (a graduate of Lethbridge Community College) and Kristine (Graduate of University of Alberta).

 

He enjoys recreational hockey, (PG Old Timers League) and occasional curling, in the winter. In the summer Ron likes to golf, water ski, and wake board; although, he is a novice wake boarder.

 

Ron’s hobbies include woodworking, making stained glass windows; and gardening in his greenhouse.

 

Ron is currently a Director of the Prince George Airport Authority and a Director and Treasurer of Cariboo Action Training Society, the organization that runs Camp Trapping near Hixon.

 

He is also a past Director and Treasurer of the Prince George Art Gallery, a past President of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, and a past President of the Prince George Oldtimers Hockey Association.

Colleen joined the Prince George office of KPMG in 1986 as a co-operative student after obtaining her Business Administration Diploma (Accounting) from the College of New Caledonia.

 

She obtained her Certified Management Accountant designation in 1991 and has been involved in numerous private business audit, review and consulting engagements.

 

Colleen has the responsibility as an engagement manager for a number of profit oriented companies and non-profit organizations in North Central British Columbia. Her extensive experience in documenting systems overviews and information is a critical component in the KPMG audit strategy and is required for all audit engagements.

 

Colleen volunteers with the PG Pride Society and the CNC Accounting and Advisory Committee.

 

She is married to Neil and they have 4 children. Christopher is 30, Amy and Michelle (twins) are 25 and Jessica is 17 years old. She also has two grandchildren, Hayden is 4 and Alexandria is 3.

Maureen has been with KPMG since January 2010. She was born and raised in Edgewater, BC. She obtained her post-secondary education in Kelowna. In 1994 she moved to Prince George.

 

Very recently Maureen took on the recruiting and marketing components of KPMG and is the liaison between National and the two People Leaders in the office. Maureen looks forward to handling both local advertising and sponsorships as well as the Prince George recruiting.

 

To maintain balance in her life, Maureen enjoys yoga, golf, mountain biking, fast cars and her dogs. She also loves to walk and spend time with her husband, family and friends. Maureen also enjoys her annual membership to the local theatre.
