Denis Trottier

Denis joined Peat Marwick in 1986 and has lived through all of the accounting firm mergers that have led to the current KPMG firm. In his early years, Denis was very fortunate to see many parts of Europe and Africa by working on a fraud investigation and on an audit in the middle of the Black Forest in Germany.
Denis is now an Audit Partner who leads the KPMG Enterprise practice in Ottawa. Having grown up in a family business in the retail sector and having owned his own business for a number of years, Denis is right at home being a private company adviser.
Denis has been responsible for recruiting for over 20 years and he loves interacting with students of diverse backgrounds. He always says that recruiting keeps him young at heart. His recruiting role also allows him to act as a Performance Counsellor to many students as they move through their careers, right from getting their CA designation to progressing through the KPMG management ranks.
When not working, Denis can be found out on his mountain bike or zooming down the slopes at Mt. Tremblant with his two kids and his spouse.
Philippe Delparte

Philippe Delparte joined KPMG’s audit practice in September 2004 upon completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Accounting) at Ottawa University. After many years of working with the Public Sector Practice in Ottawa, Philippe recently completed a two-year exchange working in the Assurance practice of KPMG’s Geneva, Switzerland office. He is presently serving Ottawa’s IFRS clients.
While at KPMG, Philippe has been involved with campus recruiting activities on and off campus. In particular he has shared with potential hires at KPMG’s annual office tour, his global mobility experience. This is Philippe’s first year as part of the Core recruiting team in Ottawa. In addition to this role, Philippe is also the manager in charge of Learning and Development for the Ottawa office.
In his spare time Philippe loves to travel, experience new cultures and try new foods. His most recent adventure was in Thailand. On his sojourns to Ottawa during his time in Switzerland, Philippe would regularly return with the best Swiss chocolate which made him very popular with his colleagues!
Renée Guénette

Renée Guénette joined KPMG in September 2005 after working for various small and medium accounting firms. She got her CA designation in February 2005. Renée started with KPMG as a senior auditor and was promoted to senior manager in October 2010.
Renée has been a member of the recruiting team for many years and has also been monitoring the UFE program for Quebec writers since her start with KPMG. Over the past few years, Renée has worked mostly on large audit engagements both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sector. Her major clients include a government business enterprise and a rate-regulated entity. Her upcoming challenge for the next couple years will be the IFRS transition for these two large clients.
Renée took a year of maternity leave in 2007-2008 when she became the mother of twins. She is now enjoying the flexibility of work hours with the firm. She loves animals and likes to take a walk with her Golden Retriever after work hours.
Stacy Levac

Stacy Levac joined KPMG in 2002 as an auditing student in the Sudbury office. In 2004, Stacy transferred to the Ottawa office where he is now a Senior Manager in the Real Estate practice.
While at KPMG, Stacy has spent time as a core recruiting member for the Ottawa office, including being a representative in the firm’s various campus career functions. In conjunction with being heavily involved with campus hiring, Stacy is the People Leader for all Audit staff.
Outside of work, Stacy enjoys spending time travelling and playing golf.
Jennifer Potenza

Jennifer Potenza joined KPMG in May 2000 upon completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Accounting) at Ottawa University. Jennifer worked as a staff and senior accountant on a variety of profit and not-for-profit audit engagements. In January 2004 upon receiving her CA designation she left KPMG to join a professional law firm as a senior financial analyst, only to return to KPMG again in July 2005.
While at KPMG, Jennifer has thoroughly enjoyed teaching new staff whether it be through her role as a KPMG facilitator for Assurance Fundamentals (our 1st year training program) or as a performance manager for numerous staff. Jennifer is also a part of KPMG’s National Not-For-Profit Network as well as a member of the International Development and Compliance Services within KPMG Ottawa. Her focus is to provide attest audits, compliance audits and accounting for a variety of profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Jennifer is the mother of two young children and enjoys spending her free time with her family. When she takes time for herself she enjoys yoga and swimming.
Charles-Antoine Rozon

Charles-Antoine Rozon joined KPMG in January 2002 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in accounting at the University of Ottawa. Charles-Antoine started with KPMG as an auditing student where he was exposed to all the practices Ottawa has to offer before moving into KPMG's Enterprise Non-Audit practice in 2007.
While at KPMG, Charles-Antoine has spent time as a facilitator for the KPMG Business School and has been part of the core recruiting team for the Ottawa office since 2008. Over the past few years, Charles-Antoine has worked in the Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton offices on several occasions. In addition, he has travelled a great deal throughout Canada, US and Latin America on client engagements.
Charles-Antoine was fortunate to take a 9 week sabbatical in the summer of 2005 and travelled all over Europe. He enjoys water skiing, downhill skiing, golf, and white water canoeing.
Dana Gheorghe

Dana Gheorghe joined KPMG in March 2006. Dana started with KPMG in the Audit practice, before moving to the Advisory Group in October 2008. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
While at KPMG Dana has had the opportunity to work with clients from a wide array of industries, and has worked on numerous engagements that have allowed her to travel both within Canada and Internationally. Dana has been actively involved with the recruitment team since she began working at KPMG.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys yoga, keeping up to date on current events, and travelling.
Sabrina Vieira

Sabrina Vieira joined KPMG’s Montreal office in October 2006 after completing her Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce at Concordia University. Sabrina has always worked in the audit practice and spent three years working on clients in the Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution sectors. Since her transfer to Ottawa in July 2009, Sabrina has worked on a variety of different clients, but spends most of her time working with client transitioning to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
During her first three years at KPMG, Sabrina worked on various international clients and travelled extensively to various locations including Barbados, Dominican Republic and Florida. Sabrina was involved with recruiting for three years while in Montreal and was also a key member of her group’s Social Committee. Sabrina enjoys learning and has coordinated several workshops for seniors at the firm.
Sabrina enjoys cooking but is especially passionate about baking. She loves to travel and plan trips with family and friends. Sabrina spends a significant portion of her free time participating and volunteering at different events held at her cultural community centre.
Innogen Henderson

Innogen Henderson joined KPMG in 2007 after graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting. Innogen works in the Audit group.
Innogen says KPMG is a great place for her to build her career as she has been fortunate enough to be able to focus on the Real Estate sector and work with a great team of people. She says the firm helped her to get through the UFE process and she enjoys being able to help others through the process as a "Study Buddy" to other writers. She also has the support and flexibility which has allowed her to pursue various other volunteer and community initiatives.
When Innogen is neither working nor volunteering, she enjoys playing with her 2.9 lb toy poodle, Col. Fitzwilliam, planning new renovation projects for her husband to do and playing team sports.
Tim Gilbank
Tax Specialist

Tim Gilbank joined KPMG in January of 2008 as a co-op student while at Carleton completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree. Tim was with the KPMG audit group for two years before moving on to the corporate tax group in September of 2010. Tim completes a wide range of tax related work, including corporate provisions and tax returns, personal tax returns and international expat tax returns.
While at KPMG, Tim has spent time in all three of KPMG’s departments – Audit, Tax and Advisory. Tim has been heavily involved in recruiting since his first year as a co-op and recently joined the official recruiting team. During his time at KPMG, Tim has been able to travel to various parts of Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland on various engagements.
Tim’s current focus is split between large Canadian public corporations and several medium-sized owner-managed real estate companies. He has recently travelled to Africa and successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and looks forward to attempting to summit Mount Aconcagua in 2012.
