Listen to KPMG's Webcast Replay: Ontario and B.C. Lay Out Road Map to Harmonized Sales Tax – Plan Your Route to July 1, 2010

On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, KPMG presented a webcast analysis on how companies that do business in Ontario and British Columbia will be affected by the provinces’ plans to harmonize their provincial sales tax with the federal GST.

Companies that do business in Ontario and British Columbia need to prepare for the upcoming harmonization of those provinces' provincial sales taxes with the federal GST on July 1, 2010. These companies will need to consider the detailed transitional rules that have just been released as part of their planning.

The webcast featured KPMG's Indirect Tax practitioners David Schlesinger (National Leader) from Toronto, Rob Allwright from Ottawa, Patrick Banham from Vancouver, and Dianne Bomben from North York.
