International Tax Reform - What's in the works?

On January 21, 2009, KPMG presented a webcast analysis of the final report of the Advisory Panel on Canada's System of International Taxation. Released December 10, 2008, the report recommends a series of measures that could significantly affect the taxation of Canadian investments in foreign markets and of foreign businesses investing in Canada if they are adopted.

Presenters included Firoz Talakshi, KPMG's National Leader, International Corporate Tax, and KPMG Tax Partner Brian Mustard, who recently rejoined KPMG after serving as Executive Director of the Secretariat that supported the Panel's research and deliberations.
