Evolving Banking Regulation 2014 - Americas Edition

Toward a new management vision

The pace, velocity and architecture of regulatory change has been incredible to digest and banks are generally moving from the evaluation of regulatory initiatives to implementation, albeit at different speeds and from different starting points.

Due to the sheer volume of regulatory change, attention has been understandably focused on complying with each piece of regulation rather than really being able to step back to look at it through the evolving enterprise view - as we are not done yet.

In this year's report, we focus on four key areas where regulation, combined with other pressures, is forcing banks to make significant changes. These are strategy and structure; conduct and culture; data and reporting aggregation; and risk and governance.
