Dan Vance, National Leader for Canadian Corporate Tax, led the panel discussion with Tax Partner Paul Lynch, leader of KPMG’s Tax Disputes Resolution and Controversy practice.
The webcast also featured our special guest speaker Marc Vanasse, a senior CRA official and member of the CRA’s GAAR committee. Marc provided an update on the CRA’s GAAR committee activities and commented on the aggressive tax planning structures the CRA is seeing in the marketplace.
