Panama TIEA Now in Force

Finance has announced that its Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with Panama came into force on December 6, 2013. Under Article 11 of the TIEA, the TIEA will generally apply to taxes that arise, or taxation years that begin, on or after December 6, 2013 (i.e., the date that the TIEA comes into force). The TIEA was signed on March 17, 2013.
