Canada Signs New Treaty Protocol with Belgium

Finance announced that Canada has signed a Protocol amending the Tax Convention with Belgium on April 1, 2014. The Protocol reflects the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) standards for the exchange of tax information.


The Protocol will enter into force 30 days after each country has notified the other that the Protocol has been ratified by its government. A further notice advising of the entry into force of the Protocol will be communicated at that time.
