Turks and Caicos Islands TIEA Now in Force

Finance has announced that its Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with the Turks and Caicos Islands came into force on October 6, 2011. Under Article 14, Canada's TIEA with the Turks and Caicos Islands will generally apply to taxes that arise, or taxation years that begin, on or after the date that the TIEA comes into force. The TIEA was signed on June 22, 2010.
