Penny is the Partner-In-Charge of KPMG's International Corporate Tax group in Toronto, with more than 24 years of tax experience with KPMG specializing in corporate tax with an emphasis on international tax, corporate reorganizations, financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Her clients include Canadian-based multinational companies operating in various countries as well as foreign multinationals structuring their investments into Canada.
An accomplished professional, Penny is also Second Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF). She is a member of the Council for the International Fiscal Association (IFA) as well as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the CICA.
Throughout her career, Penny has authored numerous articles on international tax matters for the CTF, Tax Notes International, Canadian Tax Journal, CCH, the Federated Press and IFA and presents at many of the conferences held by these organizations. She is also on the editorial board of the Federated Press' Corporate Finance publication.
