Grip Tightens on Canadian Businesses Using Foreign Workers

Canada implemented substantial changes to its Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) on December 31, 2013. The changes have resulted in greater compliance obligations on Canadian employers. The changes also provide immigration officials with authority to investigate and penalize employers.
