Alex Verbeek is Partner responsible for transactions and restructuring and corporate finance for KPMG Central and Eastern Europe. He is a member of the management committee of KPMG in CEE.

Among his key areas of experience are mergers and acquisitions, investment appraisals, privatisations, due diligence in a wide range of industry sectors including information, communications and entertainment, financial services, energy and utilities, construction, consumer and industrial markets.

He joined KPMG in the Netherlands in 1989 and KPMG in the Czech Republic in 1993. He became a partner in 1997.

Alex Verbeek graduated in business economics and accountancy from University of Groningen, Netherlands. He is a doctorandus in economy and a became a Dutch Chartered Accountant in 1992.
