Babak Nikzad is the Partner in charge of the ACI - China and is based in Hong Kong.
Babak has been with KPMG for over 23 years and his clients include corporate and investment banks, consumer banks, credit card companies, and private banks. Through his work with local and international clients, Babak has been involved in a number of transaction-based advisory services, including due diligence services in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Thailand and Korea, as well as M&A advisory services on the sale of banking portfolios and operations. Babak has also advised on a number of projects involving risk, governance and internal controls.
Babak is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Helen Wang is the Partner of the ACI - China and is based in Beijing.
Helen has been responsible for the provision of risk management, internal control and internal audit services for various large and medium-sized companies in mainland China. She has been invited by several regulatory bodies and industrial organisations to give formal presentations on subjects of theories and practices of risk management and internal control. As an officially appointed specialist for the Committee of China Enterprise Internal Control Standards, she has made a remarkable contribution to the establishment of internal control standards and guidance for Chinese enterprises by providing expert written and oral advice. Her professional knowledge and practical experience are well recognised by related regulatory bodies. Helen has drawn on her corporate governance experience to develop the ACI and helps support future ACI initiatives relating to audit committees and boards of directors.
