KPMG Huazhen welcomes the Sino-foreign Joint Venture Accounting Firms Localisation Transformation Programme

10 May 2012, Beijing

KPMG Huazhen welcomes the Sino-foreign Joint Venture Accounting Firms Localisation Transformation Programme jointly announced today by the Ministry of Finance, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration of Foreign Exchange and China Securities Regulatory Commission of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). We will respond positively to the programme by ensuring a smooth and successful transformation of the firm from the existing joint venture structure to Special General Partnership and achieving continued localisation of our firm.

As the first international accounting firm to be granted a joint venture licence in China, KPMG Huazhen will continue to uphold our core values on quality, global consistency, integrity and professionalism, and remain the employer of choice and contributing to the community. We will continue to deliver quality professional services to our clients in the PRC, to cultivate multi-disciplinary talent, and to contribute to China’s economic progress and the development of its accounting industry.
