KPMG appointed as Provisional Liquidators of Oasis

9 April 2008

KPMG's Edward Middleton and Patrick Cowley were this morning appointed Provisional Liquidators of Oasis Hong Kong Airlines Limited and Oasis Growth and Income Investments Limited by Order of the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on a winding-up petition presented by the two companies.

Having only been appointed a very short while ago, the Provisional Liquidators are working to assess the companies' financial and operating situations.

However, the Provisional Liquidators regret that one immediate consequence of this appointment is that all of Oasis's scheduled flights are now cancelled.

The Provisional Liquidators' immediate focus is therefore on helping Oasis's customers make other travel arrangements as quickly as possible. We are liaising with other airlines in this regard and encourage Oasis's passengers to check the Oasis website www.oasishongkong.com and to call the hotline numbers detailed below:

Hong Kong:
+852 3628 0628 (opening hours: 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week)

United Kingdom:
+0844 482 2323 (opening hours: 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week)
+44 1293 517211 (for calling from outside the United Kingdom)

Canada and United States:
+1 888 983 0808 (opening hours: 09:00-19:00 on weekdays and 09:00-18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays)
