The Rise of the Middle Class in Asian Emerging Markets 

The competition for middle class consumers is between local companies and multinationals, and it is not clear yet which side will win. Currently, it seems that multinationals are doing slightly better for their brand advantages. Therefore, local enterprises should put extra efforts to meet the demand of middle class consumers for high quality life. Otherwise, middle class consumers have to choose multinational corporations instead of local suppliers.
