Offering a starting point for public sector leaders as they evaluate and embrace the world of social networking, online interaction and collaboration, which makes up the basis of Web 2/Gov 2.0, this paper highlights the issues, trends and benefits of these dynamic technologies. Recognizing that these are important tools for the future of public sector service delivery, a holistic framework is provided for transitioning to Web 2.0/Gov 2.0 for better decision-making, efficiency and effectiveness.
