China's New Golden Decade Ahead: The decisions from the Third Plenum and their implication for the economy 

The decisions from the Third Plenum conveyed strong and comprehensive messages for further reform. New economic initiatives include: granting the market a decisive role in resource allocation; instigating a gradual but market-driven State-owned enterprise (SOE) reform; establishing a healthier taxation and fiscal system; further liberalizing the financial sector; and achieving more sustainable urbanization. Based on the signals presented, we strongly believe that another golden decade in China is just ahead.
