According to statistics released by the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services under the Ministry of Commerce, 71,496 service outsourcing contracts were signed in China in the period January to June 2013. The contracts had a total value of USD 38.6 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 41.1 percent. Furthermore, the amount executed so far is USD 27.31 billion, which represents a year-on-year increase of 39.5 percent. These figures underline the fact that China now has the fastest developing outsourcing sector in the world.
