China’s outbound tourist industry continues to grow and more importantly continues to be focused on Hong Kong.  In 2013 it is projected that more than 43 Million China Mainland tourists will cross the border into Hong Kong and that they are anticipated to spend an estimated USD 45 Billion while they are here.

Hong Kong also continues to invest in promoting the city as a destination of choice and improving the connectivity to the mainland through air, sea and land.

But how do businesses in Hong Kong target these mainland tourists, what drivers do they have?  With the potential cash injection which they bring, how does the Hong Kong market make sure they make the most of this opportunity?

As part of our continued support of businesses in Hong Kong, KPMG and industry experts will provide their insights into the Mainland Tourist market and how it can help Hong Kong.  We will examine the activities Hong Kong has underway in order to support this opportunity and will also hear from an organization who through their leading social media platform in China has a unique insight into the behavior of the Chinese consumer.

After hearing from our guest speakers, there will be a panel discussion where our speakers will be open to questions and further insights into this exciting opportunity.

Finally, after the event there will be a chance to network with other attendees and the respective guest speakers.

Please kindly note that the event has been rescheduled to 2 September 2013 - one day prior to the previously circulated date.

We look forward to your registration.
