Stefan Pfister new Head of Advisory at KPMG Switzerland

On October 1, 2011, Stefan Pfister will take over as Head of Advisory at KPMG Switzerland and become a member of the Executive Committee. Stefan previously enjoyed success as Head of the Transactions & Restructuring service group at KPMG and has many years of experience at international level in the fields of corporate finance and real estate. He will be succeeding Dieter Becker who is leaving the firm.

With effect from October 1, 2011, KPMG Switzerland has appointed Stefan Pfister (43), lic. oec. HSG and Partner, as the new Head of Advisory and member of the Executive Committee. He will assume responsibility for the overall advisory activities at KPMG.

 

Stefan Pfister joined KPMG in 2005. As a recognized expert on corporate finance and advisory issues in the world of real estate, he initially enjoyed success heading up the Real Estate sector, where he also holds an international leadership role. In 2009, he was appointed Head of the Transactions & Restructuring service group, which he further developed using a systematic approach. Stefan studied Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen and obtained a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Real Estate Management at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. He is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (R.I.C.S.).
