KPMG Switzerland has appointed Marc Gössi as its new Head of Performance & Technology. Gössi has many years of international experience in improving the performance of financial services companies and will be taking on the task of enhancing KPMG's service portfolio in the areas of strategy, processes, and IT architecture and design.
Marc Gössi (40), a certified public accountant, will take over the management of KPMG Switzerland's Performance & Technology service group with effect from February 1, 2011, and will also be joining the Advisory Leadership Team of KPMG. Performance & Technology supports corporate clients in dealing with complex issues of business intelligence, optimizing the supply chain and organizing finance transformation. It also helps them to become more efficient and effective, and provides assistance with change management and in embedding appropriate risk and regulatory management, as well as with further tasks designed to systematically improve performance. In this role, Gössi will enhance KPMG's service portfolio, especially in the areas of strategy, processes, and IT architecture and design.
Prior to joining KPMG, Marc Gössi worked for a number of different international financial and advisory services companies, most recently PwC, where he was responsible for the area of CFO Consulting Services for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS. Gössi studied Economics and Business Administration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and has many years of international project experience.
