KPMG is developing its Basel location with an eye to clients from not only the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, two key strategic areas for Switzerland, but also logistics, banks and insurance companies. “We know that the needs of both our local and international clients can be quite complex at times. Our new office will also help us, as an employer, optimize the conditions for our employees,” explains Christian Kaiser, Head of KPMG in Basel.
In Basel, KPMG now has over 1,300 m² of office space in the new facilities at Viaduktstrasse 42 which is located in the immediate vicinity of the main train station. Not only is the new location easier to reach via public transportation but it is also ideally situated for long-distance travel and provides the space needed to further expand the firm’s audit, advisory and business outsourcing services. Christian Kaiser is convinced that “the new modern office facilities embody KPMG’s endeavor to offer multidisciplinary services strictly geared to the needs of clients located in a fast-growing region.”
