Curriculum Vitae

Giordano Rezzonico is a Partner and Head of the Legal department western Switzerland.

He is a graduate of Geneva University Law School and passed the bar exam in Geneva in 1991. Further, he obtained an LL.M. from Duke University in the USA. He is admitted to the New York bar.

Prior to joining KPMG, Giordano worked as an associate with a law firm in Switzerland and abroad with a law firm in Washington, D.C.

He advises banks and securities dealers as well as other corporate clients. His key areas of experience are banking law, financial regulations and mergers & acquisitions. He advises on establishing banks and securities dealer companies in Switzerland, on regulatory aspects of bank mergers or acquisitions and on compliance-related issues.
