Professional experience

Jörg Walker joined KPMG in 1994 and was appointed Partner in 1999. In 2004 he joined the Executive Committee and became Head of Tax. In 2012 Jörg Walker took over the role as Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining KPMG, he spent four years at the Institute of Public Finance and Fiscal Law (IFF) at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Jörg Walker has experience in the areas of Corporate and Business Tax Consulting especially for Multinationals, M&A and Reorganization Services. He has been involved in a number of in- and outbound as well as domestic transactions and he led the privatization and restructuring of various energy companies by organizing new legal and tax structures.
