Prior to joining KPMG in January 2014, Andreas worked as a research and teaching to Prof. Dr. Peter V. Kunz at the institute of business law at the University of Berne. Previously he worked at the district court of Berner Jura-Seeland in Biel/Bienne and had been a substitute in a law firm in Berne.
Andreas advises Swiss and foreign corporate clients in various aspects of business law. His main areas of practice are regulatory matters concerning banking and stock exchange law, as well as finance law and the law on collective investment schemes. His clients include regulated businesses such as banks, securities dealers and regulated institutions under the Collective Investment Schemes Act.
