Ilaria Borsetti graduated at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan (Italy) on 2004 and in 2008 obtained the lawyer’s patent issued by the Tribunale d’Appello of Canton Ticino. In October 2011 Ilaria accomplished the Executive Master in Compliance Management at the Centro di Studi Bancari, Vezia, Ticino.
After a period of legal practice at one of the most important law firms in Lugano (2005-2006) and many experiences as trainee (2007), Ilaria worked, from December 2007 to December 2009, at the Cantonal Administration as lawyer for the Appeal Service of the Council of State and as cantonal Secretary jurist for the Data Protection Commission.
Ilaria Borsetti joined KPMG Lugano office in January 2010 and she is primarily active in the context of the financial and corporate law. In particular, she has participated in an internal investigation concerning an international banking group. Ilaria has acquired important experiences in the fields of compliance and banking organization.
During the period September-October 2011 Ilaria went to KPMG LLP, London to join the FATCA Global Team.
