  • TAKE NOTICE that an interim distribution to Scheme Creditors of British American Insurance Company Limited (provisional liquidator appointed) under the terms of the Scheme of Arrangement will be declared on December 19, 2011. Interim distribution cheques will be available for collection at the offices of British American at 133 Front Street, Hamilton from Monday December 19, 2011 between the hours of 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday and each business day thereafter. All Scheme Creditors should ensure that they bring valid photo identification when collecting distribution cheques. If any creditor is unable to pick up the cheque themselves they can contact the British American hotline on 294-2651 or via email at infoba@kpmg.bm.

      
  • A Provisional Liquidator has been appointed in relation to British American Insurance Company Limited ("BAICL").

  • Further to an Order of The Supreme Court of Bermuda the Official Receiver has been appointed as Provisional Liquidator of BAICL.

  • KPMG has been appointed as Agent for the Official Receiver in this matter.

  • Further information for policy holders will be uploaded to this web site as it becomes available.
