In some respects our role is similar to an investment bank. However, the difference is that we don’t finance the deals we work on. Our clients look to us for advice that is independent, objective and untainted by any financial interest in the outcome.
As part of KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice, you’ll be advising clients on:
- business mergers
- acquisitions and disposals
- capital raisings
- financing
- transactions with government
- real estate
- business valuations
- independent expert reports.
If you want to join our Corporate Finance practice you’ll need to demonstrate that you’re highly numerate, a quick thinker, personable and articulate and you’re prepared to study for the necessary qualifications.
You must have a degree related to finance e.g. commerce, business, economics, finance or a combination of these. Alternatively, if you’re applying for the real estate group, you’ll need to have a property and/or construction degree.
In return, we’ll offer you a challenging, rewarding and flexible career path.
