KPMG took away the Advisory Excellence Award based on work done for the Biosciences Research PPP Project in Melbourne, a PPP project for a world-class centre for agricultural biosciences research and development.
Congratulations to the team led by, KPMG Executive Director Stan Stavros from Corporate Finance, who advised the $288m project which was no easy feat, having spanned the worst of the financial crisis.
National Head of the Infrastructure and Projects Group, Graham Brooke says this is a fantastic achievement for KPMG as the Advisory Excellence Award is a sought after award in the advisory sector.
“This prestigious award is a testament to the hard work of our teams throughout the year and I hope that we can continue to deliver such high quality services to our clients,” said Graham.
Special mention goes to KPMG Partner Paul Foxlee and his team who were finalists for the same award, for work done on the Adelaide Desalination Project.
The Government Partnership Excellence Award went to the Sydney Desalination Project - another project advised by KPMG.
