Australia

Indigenous

KPMG is on a journey to help close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. It is not just a journey of activity but of outcomes.
Indigenous, reconciliation journey

At KPMG, one of our values is our commitment to communities and since 2007, when our first secondees travelled to Cape York, we have sent more than 124 people and given more than 20,000 hours of professional time working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.

We believe our reconciliation journey honours our commitment to social change and is developing a new generation of people who value their personal and professional connections with Indigenous Australia.

In 2013, we launched our first Reconciliation Action Plan App, an interactive animated story of the events defining Australia’s and our own journey towards a unified Australia. It includes the highlights of our three Reconciliation Action Plans and a historical background to consider your own journey of reconciliation.

We invite you to view our interactive version of the Reconciliation Action Plan.
