AFTS Review (Henry Review) 

In 2008, the government established the Australia's Future Tax System Review (Henry Review). Tasked with examining Australia's tax transfer system, the Panel made 138 recommendations with the aim of positioning Australia to deal with the demographic, social, economic and environmental challenges of the 21st Century.

The Panel's report and government response were released on 2 May 2010.

 

The Panel's recommendations will form the basis of community and industry consultation at the government's Tax Forum.
