This overview of the fourth edition summarises the R&D benefits for each country in the ASPAC region. It also highlights related matters companies should consider when examining the best location for R&D activities and will assist organisations and potential investors to start to understand and identify potential R&D opportunities within the ASPAC region.
We have also prepared a more comprehensive 2012/13 ASPAC R&D Brochure where we describe in detail the specific R&D tax schemes for 16 countries within ASPAC, including detailed qualifying factors and corresponding benefits.
If you would like a copy of this detailed ASPAC R&D Brochure, please contact your local KPMG team member, KPMG R&D representative or Alan Garcia, ASPAC R&D Lead (afgarcia@kpmg.com.au).
