This is the fourth year the survey has been run and overwhelmingly we have found that Australian private companies are optimistic about the business outlook with 70 percent of respondents believing the Australian economy is recovery mode, and an incredible 96 percent expecting to grow their revenue over the next 12 months.

Nearly half of those surveyed have increased their staff numbers over the past six-months, while 66 percent expect to recruit over the next 12 months. However, two-thirds of respondents claim to have suffered hiring constraints over the past 12 months, citing a talent shortage as the main contributing factor.
