Rosheen Garnon, KPMG National Managing Partner - Tax participated in the Tax Forum, contributing to the priority reform directions for the tax and transfer systems.

KPMG believes there is a need to build a strong and enduring consensus for tax reform and the Government has tried to do this with a consultative Tax Forum coupled with a number of individual initiatives.

Whilst the next steps in the tax reform process once again focus on certain aspects of the Henry Review, they are nevertheless a positive development. KPMG remains committed to continuing to play an active role in this process.
