Key insights
The aim of the EMA program is to provide major resource projects with the required workforce in identified areas of labour shortage.
The EMA will be negotiated with either the project owner or the prime contractor responsible for day-to-day oversight of the resource project.
Once approved, the EMA remains in effect for 5 years.
