Key design elements of the carbon price relevant to the consumer products sector

Fixed price phase for the first 3 years followed by a flexible price from 1 July 2015.
Includes emissions from off-road liquid fuel use relating to domestic aviation, shipping and rail with the potential inclusion of heavy on-road fuel use from 1 July 2014.
General assistance for the manufacturing sector is provided under the Clean Technology Program.
