New Law “On the legalization of the capital and the cancellation of part of the tax and customs debt”

On 21 April 2011, the Albanian Parliament following the proposal of the Council of Ministers approved the Law No. 10418 “On the legalisation of the capital and the cancellation of part of the tax and customs liabilities”.

Amendments to the Law “On Income Tax”

On 28 October 2010, the Albanian Parliament, following the proposal of the Council of Ministers, has approved the Law No.10343 on some amendments to the Law No. 8438 “ On income tax” dated 28.12.1998 (as amended).

On 23 December 2009 the Albanian Parliament approved a list of amendments to the Law no.9920 “On tax procedures in the Republic of Albania” dated 19.05.2008.

Instruction no.13 dated 14.04.2010 on same amendments of the Instruction no. 24 “On the tax procedures in the Republic of Albania” dated 02.09.2008

On 14 April 2010 the Minister of Finance has approved and issued the Instruction no.13 on some amendments of the Instruction no. 24 “On the tax procedures in the Republic of Albania” dated 02.09.2008.

Amendments to the Albanian VAT Legislation

On 21 January 2010 the Albanian Parliament approved some amendments to the Law no. 7928 “On Value Added Tax” dated 27.04.1995.

Amendments on the minimum and maximum monthly salary for the calculation purposes of social security and health insurance contributions

On 30 June 2010, the Albanian Council of Ministers has approved the Decision no. 477 on the amendment of the minimum and maximum monthly salary for the calculation purposes of social security and health insurance contributions.
