In a year when the world economy grew by 3.0%, the East African Community countries
grew at a combined rate of 6.4% up from 6.1% in 2013.

Who we are


The firm’s involvement in Kenya goes back to 1949 when it operated as Angus, Lawrie and Jeremy.  In 1965, the name of the firm changed to Peat Marwick, Mitchell and Co.  The firm operated as such until 1989, when, as a result of the international merger between Peat Marwick International and Klynveld Main Goerdeler, KPMG was created.

 

KPMG Kenya has 15 partners and over 600 professional staff.  The Nairobi office serves as the regional co-ordinating office for the East African region providing the required networking to facilitate delivery of services on a timely basis to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.

 

What we do


KPMG in Kenya provides Audit, Tax, and Advisory services, delivering a globally consistent set of multidisciplinary financial and accounting capabilities based on deep industry knowledge.   KPMG professionals in Kenya work for a wide range of clients, from global organizations to entrepreneurial start-ups.
